GNOME Foundation partners with Purism to support its efforts to build the Librem 5 smartphone

I'm pretty sure Purism doesn't know which desktop environment they're going to use yet. The initial announcement said GNOME, but ever since their comments have been hedging and wishy-washy. It doesn't matter too much either way: the goal is to get to a free software phone, and both GNOME and KDE want to support that regardless of which tech gets used to build it.
