Okay. But maybe not everybody is a creative developer. But when you go to the http://www.bzip.org/ you find one e-mail address to contact, but no hint that the project needs any help, where somebody could start.
As I live from working on free software and that I have experience in maintaining Jenkis-CI, a web site, etc, I might be even willing to invest a few hours into such a job.
