=== Confirmed Proposed UOS [Ubuntu Online Summit] date ===

Alan Pope announces that, in the absence of any objections to the 
proposed dates, the next Ubuntu Online Summit will take place between 
Tuesday and Thursday, 3rd to 5th November 2015. He recommends that 
everyone gives some serious thought to the sessions that they would like 
to see as the next release will be an LTS. Alan also links to the 
Launchpad site where planning for the summit will start.

Philip Muskovac announces that Aaron Honeycutt, Clay Weber, and

Didier Roche recognizes Sebastian Schubert for his work implementing the 
Android SDK into Ubuntu Make.  This allows users to install Android SDK 
as a stand-alone feature without having to also install the full Android 
Studio bundle.  He also shows appreciation for Omer Sheikh for his work 
expanding the Ubuntu Make test suite and ensuring that Ubuntu Make 
correctly handles error codes.

Circle Magazine ===

Sujeevan Vijayakumaran interviews Ronnie Tucker, the creator and founder 
of Full Circle Magazine, who talks about why he started the magazine, 
his motivation for continuing, and what the magazine generally covers. 
Ronnie confirms that he encourages readers to send in articles even if 
they are not native English speakers as proof-readers will "tweak" 
articles, and when asked if he is satisfied with the number of downloads

Indiegogo ===

Glyn Moody of Ars Technica reports on the Indiegogo campaign for 
Erle-Spider, a six-legged drone running on Snappy Ubuntu Core.  The 
Erle-Spider was originally conceived as a pipe inspection drone, before 
its creators realized the value of a drone with the ability to run 
complex applications.  The campaign aims to raise $50,000 in total with 
stretch goals including an Android remote control app at $100,000 and a 
5MP camera at $150,000.

Scott Gilbertson of The Register reports that some Ubuntu flavors have 
released the beta of their 15.10 Wily Werewolf release. He says that 
significant changes include Kubuntu shipping with Plasma 5.4, and an 
extension manager for Ubuntu Mate's default file manager - Caja.
