I was going by the UK sales figures, which is where they sell best in Europe, IIRC was only 27,000 units in 2013. Sorry, don't have handy link was reported in The Register.

Apple sold around 16 million Macs last year. They have 37 retail stores in the UK. Are you really suggesting that (a) the UK accounts for 0.2% of Apple's sales, and (b) that each Apple store in the UK sold an average of 2 Macs a day with none sold online?

Sorry, that reply was meant for different part of thread, and referred to Chrome books, not sure how I replied in wrong place, but I did :)

Apple are doing pretty well and Chrome books have visibility in stores to, so I would have expected larger sales given their lower cost.
