IPython 2.0 released

ipython-notebook is great. I used it over the weekend to analyze some electricity rate changes, and having multiple graphs and text/numeric output on a page is so awesome. I would not want to attempt it in a spreadsheet.

My only issue was getting it to print or save in a way to share to people. Firefox kept clipping the pages, horiz. and vertically, when doing save as pdf. And saving it as html is only possible with the folder / lots of files structure.

I'm currently sharing the notebook via (a free service), but it would be great not to rely on that.

turns out the fedora 20 ipython is rather old. Installing 1.2.1 gives me nbconvert which does make a simple html file, with inline graphics, and I can put page breaks in manually, and using chrome I get a good pdf. Awesome.
