maybe you should educate yourself before writing nonsense? nix is completely right, the gcc API (there's no such thing btw, but let's go with all the public symbols exposed to plugins) is *not* stable by any stretch of the word. this has both good and bad consequences, not unlike the linux kernel API. for the results take a look at the gcc plugins distributed in PaX or the just released compat header i ended up creating to reduce the earlier ifdef mess: http://www.grsecurity.net/~paxguy1/gcc-common.h .
