AFAIK, no distros have plans to adopt a single filesystem as the One True filesystem and stop supporting all others. The same cannot be said for systemd.
The upshot of this is that while you're always free to run whatever FS you choose despite the default choice of your distro's installer, the same cannot be said for the ease with which one can switch init systems.
