ah, yes. the single most cogent and popular argument of systemd pushers - "you like modularity therefore you must hate linux and love microkernels".

systemd is really quite modular once you redefine "modular" enough so that a monolithic monstrosity qualifies. combine that with the systemd-favourity argument that "modularity is stupid and who wants it anyway?" and you get insanity.
