I (and probably others as well) will stick to SysV init until an appropriate init solution is available.

That's your undisputed privilege (but don't hold your breath).

In the meantime the rest of the world – including leading Linux distributions and other software projects – can at their own peril use, improve, and build on systemd. Sounds fair to me.
