NumPy 1.8.0 released

Version 1.8.0 of the NumPy Python extension for mathematical functions has been released. The release merges Python 2 and Python 3 support into a unified code base. Included among the changes are linear algebra functions on stacked arrays, functions to create value initialized arrays, and statistical functions that automatically skip NaNs.
