This designation idea is pretty well found. The evolutionary process often progresses via trial and error (well, maybe this is not the next viable mutant, but it is certainly more resistant than initially thought...).

Certainly, this is not a theoretical situation. A workable path out of such a situation would be a nice gift from the open source database community to all database users, and it would certainly not benefit only to security. But I am still wondering how to do that while avoiding an initial whole species extinction (and its associated cohort of griefs).
