This is why I love Gentoo - it's all about choice.

I have systems that run OpenRC (~30 odd) and my personal laptop runs systemd (boots quick and some things work nicely at last, maybe I'll tame it eventually). I suspect I'll have a VM running eudev in a few days.

mmmmm choice ...
