It's funny how everyone rushed to discuss how they can use evince to avoid vulnerabilities. Discussion immediately moved to compatibility problems while first point (is it really makes sense to do?) was somehow skipped. Yes, I know: it's open-source, of course it's more secure!!! But... is it really more secure when developers have an attitude: "we provide sources for the black hats then ignore efforts of white hats, what can possibly go wrong?"
