I can recommend Archlinux as your next distro. It's a recent one and you can make it even more recent if you enable the testing repos.

Allan emphasized that [testing] repo is for testing recently. Although it usually works well.

Even without testing Arch is really rolling-release.

I second LDXcw's advice. Arch seems to fit best the bill.
