Arabic Wordlist 0.5 Released

Arabeyes.org, the Arabic Linux Meta-Project, released
version 0.5 of
its English to Arabic Wordlist.  The wordlist, the
first Arabic Open
Sourced dictionary of its kind ever under GPL license,
is to be used
in translations and/or dictionary projects.

The wordlist is the culminations of many man-months of
effort and work.
The current release contains in excess of 83,500 words
(and growing)
and spans a variety of categories (ie. it's general in
nature).  The
wordlist (encoded in UTF-8) has already received a
number of queries
from major online free dictionaries and its expected
to be included
into virtually all online multilingual translation
sites.

Arabeyes.org is also currently hosting its own DICT
server which can
be accessed via dict.arabeyes.org (port 2628).
