Fedora (and other distros) haven't traditionally *done* cross-compilation for everything. We would have to fix a /lot/ of assumptions from the get go. So many that in fact I think we'd still be looking into that without the releases we have seen so far. Further, we want to be *boring* in ARM. We want to look and smell as much like x86 where it makes sense to do so. That means unless x86 is going to be cross-compiled (on a future 64-bit ARM system perhaps - and I'm not serious), we're not going to do something totally out of whack. No, we have to live with the world in which we live.
