Clarification on a few points

Is it really true that there was a requirement for audits of future source code releases? I spoke with Bradley Kuhn a couple of days ago, and he explicitly stated that there never was such a requirement or demand. Apparently they unilaterally _offer_ doing such reviews in the future. but that's completely unrelated to whether they reinstate the license or not.
