It's not -guaranteed- if you violate the license, even accidentally, there's no *guarantee* that you won't run into a hostile and agressive litigant.
But it's not been the trend. I don't think I recall even a single case where a company has openly admitted to their mistake, *responded* and made a good-faith effort to rectify the problem, yet nevertheless ended up in court.
Yes, in principle it could happen. In practice, it does not seem likely.
