OLPC will be shipping F14 ARM v5tel soon

Parent article: Creating a Fedora ARM distribution part 1: History

Jon mentions skipping F14, but there's a fairly complete F14 repo compiled with armv5tel flags, and OLPC's upcoming XO-1.75 will initially ship an OS image built from it.

We plan to switch to a subsequent build that targets armv5hl (F16? F17?) but there is significant work to do before that's ready.

Anyone interested in hacking on XO-1.75 drop us a line @ devel@lists.laptop.org

Oh right, so what I should have said is that the F14 effort is excellent, but it's a slight side-project in the sense that it's awesome for OLPC, etc. however the main effort jumped over F14 and went on to F15, like it seems (hopefully) we will skip F16 and go straight for rawhide by the new year.

Oh and random tangent but I finally got Fedora up and running on my AC100, which was easier with the F14 bits posted for it :)
