I found SpiderOak didn't work at all well, though that was two years back. I was using it mostly for online backups, and found it would never complete syncing, and on one machine with only a few GB to back up, it didn't back up most of the files. It also generated a corrupt ZIP file when trying to recover the data. I found the UI very complex given what it's trying to achieve is quite simple.

It may have improved, but I'd encourage very careful testing at least.
