gCAD3D 0.72 released

Posted Aug 14, 2003 7:03 UTC (Thu) by oever (guest, #987) [Link]

The release is somewhat confusing. The author claims to release free software, but only distributes a binary. This is from the gCAD3D.txt file.
License:
gCAD3D is free software under the GNU-LGPL.
  See http://www.opensource.org/licenses/lgpl-license.

The package contains a executable binary gCAD3D and the sources of
some demo-plugins created with Mandrake 9.0.
When I asked the author about this, the mailed me:
Sorry,

LGPL = no source (at he moment).

It has 99800 lines (C), 1290 functions,
90 % made by me.

Franz.
