FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ROCOCO GETS THUMBS-UP FROM BLUETOOTH SIMULATOR USERS

DUBLIN, IRELAND - July 2, 2002 - Rococo Software gets the thumbs-up from
developers who evaluated Rococo’s Bluetooth simulation tool, Impronto
Simulator 1.1. In a survey distributed to Impronto evaluators, over 80% of
survey respondents were satisfied with the tool and commended it for ease of
use and innovative features.

Impronto Simulator 1.1 runs Java applications in a simulated Bluetooth
environment, allowing developers to simply test and configure applications
before deploying them on Bluetooth devices. The tool simulates a complete
JSR-82 (Java APIs for Bluetooth Wireless Technology) environment without
Bluetooth hardware or stacks.

"I found it useful to run the JSR-82 and GCF compliant code directly on the
simulator without any change," said one respondent. "Also, the ability to
run the devices on different machines over a network was a very useful
feature helping us to distribute load and get better performance."

In addition to implementing JSR-82, the survey rated the following features
as beneficial: easy-to-use GUI, support for J2ME, support for device and
service discovery. To date, nearly 300 developers have evaluated the
simulator. To evaluate Impronto Simulator 1.1 visit
http://www.rococosoft.com/products/evaluate.html. When you download an
evaluation copy of Impronto Simulator you will receive a survey via email.
Fill out the survey and you'll be entered into a contest to win a
Bluetooth-enabled Palm. Contest runs till July 31, 2002.
