one good thing about this decision is that the court does recognize that there is tension between patents and infringing on the public domain (their words) and that in this era where there are ever more innovators care needs to be taken to not hurt

this is at least recognizing that there is a issue here, which most of the pro-patent people would like to pretend didn't exist (that everything should be in favor of the first person to get a patent)
