It's a personnal choice based on my personnal perception of the issue.
I'm switched on "mysql is dead" and will start behaving on than based basis. I'll keep monitoring oracle about mysql, they may prove me wrong, but since then...

Oracle couldn't kill MySQL anymore then I could.

Your talking about one of the most popular and widely used open source
projects of all time. GPL licensed, no less.

Time will tell us... for now "it's dead".
What will do Oracle board? Best way to kill it:to do nothing and let it die by itself.
