Fedora 12 and unprivileged package installation

My personal opinion is that if Hughes "doesn't particularly care how Unix has always worked", then he's in the wrong job.

If that's how Fedora runs, then I'm glad I'm a SuSE patriot. I feel vindicated in that choice.

*My* first distribution was Tandy Xenix 1.3 and SCO Xenix 2.2.1. How long has Hughes been doing this?
