This is a patch release to fix up Unicode escaping in query URIs, which
was breaking non-ASCII searches from the Totem YouTube plugin
(bgo#602497). There are several other backported patches fixing
documentation and timestamp issues, amongst other things.

There have been no API changes from 0.5.0 in this release.

About libgdata
==============

libgdata is a GLib-based library for accessing online service APIs using
the GData protocol --- most notably, Google's services. It provides APIs
to access the common Google services, and has full asynchronous support.
