Subject:  [PATCH] Add new driver for LSI 3ware 9750
Date:  Tue, 20 Oct 2009 17:22:15 -0700
Archive-link:  Article, Thread

James, linux-scsi,

This patch adds a new driver '3w-sas' for the LSI 3ware 9750 6Gb/s
SAS/SATA-RAID controllers.

- I have tested this code to work on 32-bit, 64-bit, PAE, PPC-64.
- This code contains a legacy interface that works with open-source
smartmontools software at
  http://sourceforge.net/projects/smartmontools.

Note: This patch is included in-line below and also as an attachment
(in case vger truncates the 2363 line
patch).
