If you're that interested in bacon, go to Zingerman's Deli in Ann Arbor, MI. It's one of the world's most recognized and loved delis (not an exaggeration). One of the owners, Ari, recently put out a book on better bacon, and during the summer they were running a lot of bacon-inspired specials, including bacon-in-gelato, among other things. They will definitely still have them on request if they're not still on the menu.

Their bacon is _the freaking best_, and they have have found some pretty interesting uses for bacon that seem batshit insane at first glance and turn out totally scrumptious at first taste.

The Ann Arbor LUG has met a few times there as well, so you can turn it into a Linux-related experience if helps seal the deal any. ;)
