new updated kernel packages got available for amd64 at 14-Aug-2009 14:35.
Not bad for a vulnerability reported on 13.8 though debians kernel/security team does a _really_ good job at such things! (thx for your hard work!)

WTF indeed. If you read the text, you'll see that Debian is credited as having gotten the first update out. I seem to have written that in an especially confusing way, and I apologize, but the information is there.
