Still sounds quite arrogant to me. It sounds like "we'll come talk to you if we want your input."

My English could be limited, but to me it sounds "we'll come talk to you because we want your input."

Indeed, I'm a native English speaker and that's how it sounds to me. This "Debian developers are
arrogant" meme needs to die.

Because of course nobody would dare email the release team out of the blue, not in a project whose developers are as timid as Debian's. ;)
