Parent article: Attacks on package managers

CentOS is mentioned as a user of YUM near the beginning of the article, but then omitted in the discussion of enterprise-grade distributions. I know it essentially repackages RHEL, but it doesn't use the same mirrors or digital signatures. So, can anyone testify to the protections offered by the CentOS package management infrastructure in this regard?

Thanks in advance!
