It seems at this time, they are not making Xft-enabled builds, so I have made my own for about the past two weeks. And for my part I am quite impressed. If you are looking for a fast, standards-compliant browser with minimal bloat, I would suggest giving it a try. (I have used Galeon almost exclusively for the last year or more, and have now completely switched over to Mozilla Firebird).

For those of you having install problems, I can only suggest you keep an eye on this project as those issues get worked out. IMHO, it is well worth it.

Kudos to the development team, and best wishes for continued progress.
