As of this writing, nearly 200 changesets have been merged since the 2.6.29-rc8 release. They are mostly fixes, there is also a new mascot logo, a driver for ServerEngines BladeEngine 2 adapters, and a driver for the "Dave" Ethernet controller found on the Qong Board FPGA.
The current stable 2.6 kernel is 2.6.28.8, released on March 16; the
2.6.27.20 update was released
at the same time. Both contain an even longer than usual list of important
fixes.
