There are two repsonses Cisco can take to the lawsuite

* CheckMark GPL compliance
* CheckMark "Avoid Linux like the Plague" compliance.

The latter costs more money.

And the first can't be avoided for existing products anyway.

So their best option is to add internal procedures to make sure that they respect copyright.
