Ok, I can read it and find the answer. This is really a reminder to both the Moblin team at Intel, and the editors at lwn, that any announcement like this should include a capsule summary of what the project is about. Otherwise folks like me have no idea whether it is of any interest to us or not.

Agreed. What, exactly, is Moblin? Is it a software program? An application suite/package? Or is it a Linux (or other FLOSS) distro?

From the link: "Moblin is a community open source project, initially targeting Intel® Atom™ based Netbooks." I'm only slightly more enlightened by that—I now know that I can't use Moblin as I don't have a computer with an Atom processor. Oh, well...

Exactly. Ris, you have habit of posting such uninformative announcements. Could you please elaborate a bit with a single-phrase description of the project, like the other LWN editors do? It would make your posts vastly more useful.

[But I suspect Ris doesn't read the comments to his posts, or he might have started doing this years ago...]
