LugRadio to end soon [LWN.net]

The popular LugRadio podcast will soon be recording its last show. The most recent edition was the second-to-last "regular" show, with one more to follow, as well as a live final show to be recorded at LugRadio Live in the UK on the 19th and 20th of July. More info can be found at Jono Bacon's blog as well as Stuart Langridge's blog (from which we quote): "I probably ought to say: it isn't because weve had a row or anything. We want the show to go out on a high always leave 'em wanting more, isn't that the showbiz mantra? and everyone can name programmes that have outstayed their welcome by stringing it out for just one more season. I would like to keep those people who don't think that we jumped the shark 104 shows ago to be still thinking that the show was good even after it's over."

I only discovered LugRadio last year and it's a damn fine show. It will be shame to see it go.

I agree.  I think it is an acquired taste ;)  As much as they're making about not stopping due
to problems, they're being loud enough that it reminds me of the "methinks the lady doth
protest too much" line though.  I'll definitely miss them, it was a really fun show to listen
to.
