Kernel release status

I'm on an iPhone, and too lazy to do the work, but I think the lwn authors *always* comment 
that there's an awful lot of patches going in this late in the release cycle. I dont think
it's a bad 
thing, but it's probably worth acknowledging that up until -rc5 at least, new stuff goes in.
It just 
does.
