[S]et the mounts-before-check count on each filesystem to be a different prime number. That way multiple filesystems almost never get checked at the same time.Even better is setting the mounts/count to the same number on all filesystems, then use tunefs to set the starting count to a different value on each.
Voila! Never a multiple fsck.
