Looking a bit at it, I'd say it were mainly Luc's ideas at how to approach modesetting and so on, not the code itself (except a small part). And that after Keith earlier said that Luc's approach was wrong or could never work. Throw in personality clashes and you get a nice mix. Luc feels like his ideas and code are used without giving him any credits, with Keith/Intel trying to get all of it.

Well, if many of these things are his idea, it should be acknowledged. On
the other hand, if there is code in there from him, and it has his
copyright, he is acknowledged, right? I can see it's sad Keith doesn't
metion him, but what, should Keith tell the world he didn't invent this
but luc did, every time he gave a presentation? Luc could give talks too,
that is what makes Keith visible...
