A bit more information

Parent article: Desktop Linux group launches (ZDNet)

I am the interim executive director, presently an unpaid position. I am
making my income from consulting about Open Source / Free Software policy and processes (and my consulting business is finally
getting on its feet).

Steve's article made this look like an anti-Lindows move. It is not. I have personally invited Michael Robertson on board, and the invitation remains open. I don't see any negatives for Lindows in their joining.

Thanks

Bruce

I dont see a problem with Lindows on board either but IMHO I do not feel that Michael Robertson can work well and play with others. It seems to me through all of his dealings and I am not just referring to the Summit that all he seems to do is do things to get his name in the paper. No matter how crazy or what he has to say it seems that he is just a rabal rouser If you guys decide to have a conference and you dont let him be a keynote speaker who knows how he will react.
