Slackware an old distribution

I have no opinion concerning Slackware being an old distro or not, but I do think that if they are still maintaining a bug report system, that the following:

mknod /dev/raw1394 c 171 0
mknod /dev/video1394 c 172 0

shouldn't be needed (either by using udev, or making those node's automatically)

I'm not a slackware user, so don't care, but suggest you file a bug report..
