Watch all your favorite movies legally on LinDVD ...

As opposed to illegally watching DVDs that one owns ? Is this some new fad, where one wears a ski mask before putting in the DVD ?

[a] Play video games with TransGaming's Cedega ... specifically designed for running games written for Microsoft Windows(r)

[b] ... Enjoy 6 months of anti-virus protection with Kaspersky (retail price: $49.95)

Didn't realise that viruses under Linux are such a nuisance. Perhaps Mandriva was nice enough to anticipate that [a] may require [b] ?

Yes. There are countries where it is illegal to watch DVDs with Linux software.

The Anti-Virus software is mainly for such things like a mail server with Windows clients or generally in a heterogenuous network. For the same purpose clamav has been part of most distributions for a long time now.
