Ok, color me stupid, but how do I upgrade from 6.06 to 6.06.1? Or am I already at 6.06.1 if I've been applying updates as they come out?

Yes - to confirm this, do "cat /etc/issue" and you should see the updated version number! But you certainly don't need to do anything else; this is just all the updates folded into an updated CD image, with some nice installer bug fixes.

Nice! I was hoping that was the case.

Now, it would be even nicer if the blurbs from Ubuntu had one or two sentences to that effect. :-)

Ok, I just re-read it. Perhaps I'm being particularly dense (which is not without precedent), but could you point me to where in the announcement it indicates that existing 6.06 installs that have updated their packages are now equivalent to 6.06.1?

Argh! Someone please poke my eyes out :p I completely misread your post adn thought you were thinking about the installer updates, sorry. They do partly mention it though, but they could easily have made that fact much more obvious.
