..by the current maintainers who don't have a working implementation. It's ridiculous. So the current in-kernel swsusp has a better quality but just doesn't work on as many systems as reliably.

Go figure.

: In any case, the real problem with software suspend is not the core code, which is highly similar between all of the implementations. It lies, instead, with device support.

Yeah, blame the drivers. How come suspend2 is more successful if drivers are the same? One has to wonder.
