| [opensuse-announce] SUSE Linux 10.1: Changed Schedule |
| Date: |

We have looked at the current state of SUSE Linux and decided that
we're not ready yet to call this weeks build an RC1, there are far too
many open BLOCKER bugs and also some changes that need additional
testing. We therefore have to delay RC1 a bit, the updated schedule
is as follows:
Beta9: 2006-03-31 [1]
RC1: 2006-04-12
Goldmaster[2] Release: 2006-04-25
RC1 is followed by a few RCs, we will not put out complete ISOs for
the RCs, just delta-ISOs and update the repositories. The final RC
will then be made available on the 25th of April,
Andreas
Footnotes:
[1] or 2006-04-01 depending on how fast we can feed the mirrors
[2] Goldmaster is the name for the final Release Candidate (RC)
