I think it's just simple free-software geek psychology: give us a tool and we just see more work to do, but give us bug reports and we're desperate to fix them to keep our geek pride.

Well you are right, but it's reallt alot easier if you get the bugreports instead of having to produce them yourself. It would take some time to setup the tool to run on the source code archives, and to understand the tool.

No, this way is alot better, just sad for k8to that his company didn't do this.
