no bad experiences to report, just that from following the xen-devel mailing list, there is still heavy development ongoing, i normally expect beta/rc/release after a feature freeze ...

what you refer to as beta just seems to be the ongoing CVS development,
perhaps I'm misunderstanding what work is going on in HEAD rather than some 3_0 branch?

No doubt they aim for the "real" 3.0 to be in RHEL5, so need to get a pretty good version into FC5 for more exposure ... no problem there
