Years ago, in the dim ages, when I still read slashdot regularly/at all, this guy actually gave an interview on slashdot. Let me repeat that. A politician at the national level was interviewed on SLASHDOT ~4-5 years ago. I'm sure it's still in the archives, google for it, he'll make your day. I don't know his stances on other issues, but when it comes to tech and the issues around it like IP, this guy is AWESOME.

I wish he was my congressman so I could vote for him.

You can write to your members of Congress (both Representatives and Senators) and ask them to co-sponsor new copyright reform legislation when Rep. Boucher introduces it. Hey, Jon, LWN feature request...how about setting up a style to let readers convert their LWN comments into letters to Congress? I have done a blog2congress tool for my blog. Just think if2% of the comments on this site got turned into letters and mailed...
