From the screenshots, it seems to be a crossover of yet another attempt at realising Doug Engelbart's vision for collaborative computing, with yet another attempt at a 3D interface, with networking. What they are saying that is really interesting is that their usage of Squeak as a platform (not only Smalltalk as a programming language) may make it flight this time.
I like the idea, but I'm not comfortable with the idea of going 3D. I'd be more comfortable with 3D was an option and all collaboration could be performed in text mode (braille terminals, dumb terminals anyone?) or in 2D (old machines) as well.
