= Board Meeting Monday 2026-03-02 14:30 CET =
* Present: Gerald, Jeff, Rachel, Shawn, Simon
* Excused:
* Missed: Ish
* Guests: Doug, Gertjan, Lubos
* Minutes: Simon

== Uyuni ==
* Doug wondered about current status.
* Board has accepted Uyuni as a project. Next steps will come from the
Uyuni side. No further action from the Board at this point.

== Tech preview of kudos recognition platform for openSUSE available ==
* Presented by Lubos.
* https://kudos.opensuse.org still under active development, will be
expanded in waves.
* Currently a soft launch, not ready to be widely shared yet. More
updates to follow in the coming month.

== Governance Discussions ==
* Update on the current state from the previous meetings. Jeff is
collating feedback into a more formal proposal.

== "Age Verification" in the US ==
Doesn't need board discussion at this point, but
https://code.opensuse.org/board/tickets/issue/110 has been opened, to
track getting legal guidance on whether this is something the "openSUSE
Project" needs to concern itself with, from a legal standpoint.

== Update on refresh of license && terms of site ==

Lubos: Legal seems to be okay with draft of
https://etherpad.opensuse.org/p/opensuse-license
I am awaiting confirmation of a draft of terms of site that should be
updated together with the license
https://etherpad.opensuse.org/p/terms-of-site

Chioma asked me to defer revisiting of data privacy terms to a dedicated
effort with the SUSE data privacy team. Once confirmed I do already have
pre-agreed plan for community + official translations (German + French).

== Board sessions at oSC ==
* Friday before BBQ session worked / felt much better then the often
quiet session at the end of the conference. * Jeff will submit session
on Governance; we will have one board session Friday before the BBQ
again if possible.

== Code of Conduct issue raised ==
* Worked through.

Meeting ended 15:25 CET.
